Heiko Knuettel | Hi,
I'm currently evaluating Fast Report 4, and wondered if someone has done the component design editors (this thingy in "Extra" folder) for DBISAM already...and is willing to share Cheers, Heiko |

Steve Forbes Team Elevate | Hi Heiko,
I am responsible for unleashing the previous FR/DBISAM components and have been working on the FR4 version today. I have the code compiling, but need to test to make sure everything works. I have to fit this stuff in when I have spare moments (which is rare), so it has taken a lot longer than I intended, but hopefully I will have something I can release in a few days. -- Best regards Steve "Heiko Knuettel" <heiko@knuettel.com> wrote in message news:7A575852-2DEF-4192-9DEC-E9EBA9327156@news.elevatesoft.com... > Hi, > > I'm currently evaluating Fast Report 4, and wondered if someone has done > the component design editors (this thingy in "Extra" folder) for > DBISAM already...and is willing to share > > Cheers, > > Heiko > |

"Lance R" | Steve,
yes. Thank you!! I was starting to modify yours to work with EDB. It would be REALLY great if you could get it to work with EDB. I didn't have much problem, I believe, in getting yours to work with FR4 other than the requires.. But I haven't really tried it. Steve Forbes Team Elevate | Hi Lance,
I am having one major problem at the moment with the FR4/DBISAM4 components ... they compile and install fine, but I'm not seeing any DBISAMish components when I kick off the FR runtime end-user designer I will hopefully resolve it soon, coz they are pretty much useless otherwise -- Best regards Steve "Lance R" <lance@cdesoftware.com> wrote in message news:C58770C9-43FB-4600-8345-9933DDA0C92D@news.elevatesoft.com... > Steve, > > yes. Steve Forbes Team Elevate | Hi Heiko,
I am hoping to get another solid go at it in the next couple of days, so hopefully I can get it fixed very soon. If not, I will contact FR because AFAIAK the code is correct and in accordance with their examples. I will also send you the code and we can both have a go. -- Best regards Steve "Heiko Knuettel" <heiko@knuettel.com> wrote in message news:057A1084-EC40-47D5-BCD2-28448CB33B20@news.elevatesoft.com... > Hi again Steve, > >>>I am having one major problem at the moment with the FR4/DBISAM4 >>>components >>>... they compile and install fine, but I'm not seeing any DBISAMish >>>components when I kick off the FR runtime end-user designer > > I had the same problem with the quick-and-dirt components I've written > before posting here > > I'm on holiday next week, so I will have much time...if you like, send me > the components, and I try to get them working. > > Cheers, > > Heiko > |

John | Maybe you can have a look at some other driver in the FR binaries
newsgroup, for instance the thread "IB Objects native Components for FR4" to compare the registerring method > Hi Heiko, > > I am hoping to get another solid go at it in the next couple of days, so > hopefully I can get it fixed very soon.
