We have uploaded new DBISAM 4 installations today that resolve the issue
with Delphi 2007.  Use the following steps to correct the issue with the
help files:

1) Uninstall the current version of DBISAM that you have installed.
2) Run the following commands:

<Delphi 2007 Installation Dir>\Help\Doc\h2reg -u cmdfile=h2reg.ini

<Delphi 2007 Installation Dir>\Help\Doc\h2reg -r cmdfile=h2reg.ini

3) Install the new DBISAM installation that you downloaded today or later.
The proper date and time stamp on the latest installation will be:

Date of 2007-04-14 with a time of 1:56 PM or later

My apologies for the problems.

Tim,

After following these 3 steps the Delphi 2007 Help stopped working
completely and worse, repairing the help with step 2 doesn't work either
anymore.

Before reïnstalling any suggestions?

Henri

If you have Vista, you may need to create a shortcut to the CMD and then
select Run as Administrator. Otherwise, the man in black wont let you run
step 2.

Tim,

I'm looking to upgrade to D2007 here in the next 30-days or so. With
never having installed D2007 will I have to perform steps 1 and 2 first
or can I just install DBISAM 4 with no issues (with the latest version)?

Thanks...

You might need to check the Task Manager and make sure that all instances of
dexplore.exe are killed.  For some reason Delphi 2007 prevents dexplore from
terminating when it terminates, and having it running interferes with the
ability to update the help collections and see the updates.
