Chris Holland SEC Solutions Ltd. Team Elevate | Hi,
My DBISAM server keeps stopping and coming up with a message: "Windows cannot open this file: MYSERVER.LGB" and then waits asking me what I want to do. What is the LGB file and what should I open it with? Also the last entry in the log file is: 4/28/2007 2:37:24 PM Stopping database server on all addresses and port 12005 Chris Holland SEC Solutions Ltd. |

Eryk Bottomley | Chris,
> What is the LGB file and what should I open it with? It is a server log file backup and you shouldn't need to open it (in the sense you mean). The server is most likely trying to erase the existing LGB so it can rename the existing LOG to LGB and create a new MYSERVER.LOG file. I would check out the usual access permissions issues associated with a DeleteFile operation being denied. Eryk |
