In the report  I use an expression field to work out a int value.

I have named this field and need a total in summary but SUM(‘Commision’) does not work.

I can via scripts change the colour  , fonts [properties] etc but how do I read or set the value of a custom field

Authors of software tell me a custom field cannot be summed, is this true?
