I have an application with the database engine set for large file
support.  Can this application be used on a standalone machine using FAT32?

[1] Possibly[2] "yes" so long as the OS in a WinNT variant and you don't
actually break the 4Gb limit ...however it wouldn't make any sense to do
such a thing.

What Eryk said is correct.  You would need at least a WinNT or better OS,
and then you would still be restricted to 4Gb.
