Thread Why can't dbsys export memo fields?
Sun, Jul 8 2007 11:19 PMPermanent Link

I want to export fields from a DbISAM table to another database. I
thought Export would work but now I discover the memo field wasn't
exported. There wasn't an error or anything, it just didn't appear in
the exported file.

Memo fields normally contain CRLF pairs, therefore they aren't exported in
DBISAM because they'll mess up the import process with the unexpected extra
CRLF pairs.

Look at the export tools at http://www.scalabium.com/

Mike's stuff is very good and can handle loads of different formats.
