Thread Syncing local DBISAM db up to SQL Server ?
Tue, Dec 25 2007 2:27 PMPermanent Link

Sam Jones
A 'big picture' question...

We have users with local DBISAM v4 databases. Works fine.

We are looking into allowing this db to push data up to a central internet db, in an async
way. It may be unidirectional.

Has anyone done this?

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Do you want to move all changes, or just certain rows within a certain
criteria ?   Triggers are probably your best bet for this since they allow
you to track all of the changes.
