Thread DBISAM and Windows 64bit, /3Gb boot.ini switch

My apps currently use DBISAM 3.2.7 (yes, I know this is ancient) and none of them will run
on Windows 64bit and Windows 32bit with the /3Gb boot.ini switch enabled.

I am a registered user of DBISAM 3.x and Elevate DB (both C/S and sourcecode), but do not
want my apps to upgrade to ElevateDB yet because of the change in database format (i.e.
complications related to customers needing to explicitely convert the database from DBISAM
to ElevateDB).

Could anyone tell me whether there is a solution to make DBISAM 3.x (any v3.x or possibly
higher) work on Windows 64bit and Windows with the /3Gb boot.ini switch enabled?
Does this problem exist in other DBISAM and ElevateDB editions ?

Best regards,

Henk Hagedoorn
An otherwise happy DBISAM customer Smile

I have not tried this yet, so I would have to give it a whirl before I could
comment any further.  What symptoms are you seeing when you use that switch
?  Are you getting error messages, etc. ?
