I'm looking for volunteers to help provide "semi-official" peer support on
the ElevateDB and DBISAM newsgroups.  It isn't something that you have to
spend a lot of time on, rather just a small commitment to check in every day
or so and try to answer what you can.  I will still be checking the
newgroups, so most questions will still get answered at least each day.  It
is preferable that those that volunteer have a fairly complete background
with ElevateDB and/or DBISAM, since you will be using an "[Elevate Expert]"
tag after your name in posts.

If you're interested, please send an email to me at timyoung@elevatesoft.com
along with which newgroup(s) you're interested in helping out with.

Also, if you'd rather just keep helping out on the newsgroups like you
always have, without the official label, that's okay also.  There's quite a
few folks that have given a lot of their time here, and it is always
appreciated.

Even my swelled head wouldn't let me attach [Elevate Expert] after my name. So I'll just keep sticking my oar in in my usual fashion.

C'mon, it's all relative, and you are certainly way more into ElevateDB, for
example, than a lot of other customers.

So here I am. As a old DBSIAM 1,2,3,4 user, I was very active at the
beginning here in this forum. In the last time I was not so active anymore
here because I didn't have much of problems with DBSIAM. So I will start
again to monitoring the dbisam.general, dbisam.sql and dbisam.clientserver
groups more frequently.

Regards
Rolf

Thanks very much.  I'll be posting an announcement today or tomorrow so that
everyone knows who the new Team Elevate volunteers are.

So who would you recommend to be the "new mug"?

Hi Roy,

> So who would you recommend to be the "new mug"?

Sorry - I meant mug as in the cup with the elevate logo on it. (Still got
mine - faithfully gives me the caffine I need to get through the day!)   Smile

Cheers
