<< Slightly OT, Kaspersky apparently digs deeps into the system. We have
Carbonite online backup on our machines and the last update killed it on our
Vista box. After a lot of time wasting I got the solution from Carbonite -
you have to *uninstall* Kaspersky, install the newer version of Carbonite,
then reinstall Kaspersky. Merely disabling Kaspersky is not enough. I still
find this hard to believe but this info may be of use to someone at some
point. >>
