When I configure our McAfee AV-Scanner to ignore DBISAM tables (.dat,
..idx, and .blb) as recomended by Elevate Software, are these file types succeptable to any virus attack on the server?
I mean, is there anything written to these temporary tables while they're being created on the server, so they can be infected by a virus?

No, they aren't executable, and therefore cannot be used to infect a machine
or propogate a virus by themselves.
