Thread Where can old Change histories be found

Does anyone have the ChangeLogs for the major releases of DBISAM archived and could post them?  I've got an old Win98
DBISAM 1.21 application and hoped to see if patching the source code to WinXP version would let us hobble along until we
can do a complete rewrite.

I can find the "Changes from Version 3.x" document (
   Home > Technical Support > Product Manuals > DBISAM Version 4 Manual > C++Builder 6 > Before You Begin
   http://www.elevatesoft.com/manual?action=mantopic&id=dbisam4&product=c&version=6&category=0&topic=1 )
However, I can't find similar docs for v2.x and v1.x.  Anyone have those?

In searching the Newsgroupd (Web) postings, the promising hyperlinks to documentation seem to be mostly broken and
return a "The request made to the web server is invalid." error.

As an example, see http://www.elevatesoft.com/newsgrp?action=openmsg&group=5&msg=49327&page=1#msg49327
"Noticed that the Build notes are under 'New Incident Reports'
      http://www.elevatesoft.com/scripts/incident.dll?action=reported&release=4.20&type=F  "

It looks like the URL form that is currently used should look more like:

What exactly are you having an issue with ?  AFAIK, 1.x applications should
work on XP.

I've attached the version 2.x changes/new items notes from the 2.x manual.

Thanks Tim!

We were having problems with the reports failing.  And I'm certain that we need to add some better handling of dropped
network packets.  (One of our clients proved that with a lousy connection between buildings on their campus.  We had to
convince them to stop using a remote server since they couldn't get management to invest in fixing the hardware problem.)
In any case, the code could benefit from some work.

So I thought reading through the change logs might give us some hints as to whether the problems might be related to
issues found and corrected ... or simply deficiencies in the code we had written.

Do you also have the version 3.x changes/new items notes from the 3.x manual? Or are the changes between 2.x and 3.x
not going to be an issue?

So, the reports were failing because of a long-distance/wireless network run
?   Or, are these two separate issues ?

I know that we've got several customers that still use 1.x also, and they
seem to work just fine on the latest OSes.

Which version do you intend to "land" at ?  That will determine what changes
you will need to make.
