bill plunkett | I am running dbisam v4.27 on a Vista Virtual Machine running with Parallels on a MacIntosh Pro OS 10.5.
New Windows Installation, New Delphi installation, new dbisam installation (although I am a prior User from a couple of years ago). Created a new table using dbsys - everything seems fine. Tried to Alter the table and I get a 11013 Access Denied error when I try to apply the modifications. Read all the treads in the forums regarding above to no avail. checked all rights and I have read/write permission. Everything is local - no network. can anyone help? Please... bill |

"Walter Matte" | You are not working under Program Files are you? I trust you are using a
folder under \Users\xxx or \Users\Public or somewhere other than \Program Files due to folder vitualiztion.... Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. timyoung@elevatesoft.com | Bill,
<< Tried to Alter the table and I get a 11013 Access Denied error when I try to apply the modifications. >> In addition to what Walter said about Vista folder virtualization, you also need to make sure that you don't have any anti-virus software interfering with DBISAM: http://www.elevatesoft.com/bulletin_14.htm -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
