   I'm using DBISAM VCL on C++Builder 6 but i want to update to CodeGear Builder C++ 2009. Can I use the same VCL for Codegear?.If not, can
I download a free update for the VCL's?

DBISAM 4 supports C++Builder 2009

Sam will tell you whether you can get a free download to C++Builder 2009
based upon what products you currently own.

Have you logged into the Customer Area and checked which verisons you
can download:

When did you purchase your copy of DBISAM 4?  Elevate Software now have
annual support plans.  You may need to renew yours so you can download
DBISAM 4 for C++Builder 2009.

No not directly - you'll have to upgrade the tables to V4 using either DBSys or (I think, its a long time ago) the inbuilt tables upgrade facility. There is no facility provided to downgrade a table from V4 to V3 (it can be done by exporting the data)
