"John Taylor" | Where should dbsys.ini be located, re: changed file extensions ?
I don't find a dbsys.ini on my computer, and creating one in the folder with dbsys.exe nor in the target database folder seem to make any difference, it still will not recognize tables with an extension different that .dat thanks JT |

Fernando Dias Team Elevate | John,
> Where should dbsys.ini be located, re: changed file extensions ? Mine is here: C:\Documents and Settings\Fernando\Definições locais\Application Data\Elevate Software\Database System Utility You must replace "Fernando" with the name of the profile you are using and "Definições locais" with the corresponding English designation for this folder - I think it is "Local Definitions" but I'm not sure. -- Fernando Dias [Team Elevate] |

Fernando Dias Team Elevate | John,
I just checked an English version and the correct name of the directory is "Local Settings", not "Local Definitions" as I first said. Also, this directory is by default hidden. -- Fernando Dias [Team Elevate] |
