Ahamed,

<< I have replied with attachment in Binary posts at below link. >>

I just noticed that you're using 3.19 and 3.24 clients with the 3.30 server.
Did you try making sure that all clients are using 3.30 ?  Some of the
earlier versions of 3.x had some issues with reconnections and the server.

Hi Tim,

We have a desktop client application (developed in Delphi) which uses DBISAM database components  and a web interface (ASP.NET Application)
which connects to the same database (Engine version 3.30).

Could you please give me in detail what to be done to make all clients into version 3.30 ?... ( i guess, since server log shows 3.24 and 3.19
versions, desktop client(delphi) might be version 3.24 and web interface .Net may be version 3.19...also, let us know how to verify the version)

Awating ur earliest reply..

Regards

Download and install DBISAM 3.30, and then re-compile all of the
applications that are currently using a lesser version.  That will update
them to 3.30.

You should log into the Customers area of the web site using your user ID
and password:

http://www.elevatesoft.com/customer?action=login

and then click on the Download Products link on the right-hand side.  That
will take you to a page where you can download 3.30.

<<I checked out the log.  Do you have any sessions that are
connecting/disconnecting at a very rapid rate ?  There are a lot of
connections/disconnections at the end of the log, and I'm trying to
determine if they are "normal" for your application, or a situation caused
by a problem in the server.>>

Thanks Tim for your quick response. I will download it.

Regarding the connection and disconnection, i checked it in the application and could find that the web version is having frequent connection
and disconnection. Will it be the problem? can we configure the Dead Session clean Up interval oe Dead Session Expiration or Max Dead
Sessions in server to some specific values to avoid the DBISAm restart issue...if so what could be the best values.. please advice.

Thanks

It shouldn't be once all of the clients are using 3.30.  If you're still
seeing a problem after that, just let me know.
