Thread 4.28b6 help file corrupt or incomplete (?)

Hi Tim,

i've manually opened the 4.28b6 help file > help topics > looked for
TDBisamtable > clicked on "properties" > then clicking on any property i get
the message "the topic does not exists. contact your application vendor for
an updated help file. (129)"

what's happening??

Which version of Delphi are you using ?

i'm using D6.03, and the problem repeats for almost every
property/table/object of the help: the error is shown and the only help page
which opens is that about differences among v3 and v4.

Yes, that is indeed the case.  I'll make sure that this is corrected in the
4.29 release.

Thanks Tim! i definitely need the help file to study some new features of
v4, before going in the process of upgrading our softwares.. i can't afford
customers stopped with weird errors on the screen because of my
superficiality!

As a temporary measure you can install the help stand alone. I think it
comes with the utilities.

Unfortunately it's an internal issue within the single WinHelp file that we
distribute that is causing it, so even if you launch it from the Windows
Explorer (XP or less), it will fail when trying to click on the property,
method or event links.

yes, indeed. I think that the problem is common to all versions of Windows:
i actually use Vista x64.
