"Michael Messerschmidt" | hi,
I'm updating tables from 3.27 to 4.29 build 1 when I upgrade the tables from dbsys I see the following for all of the tables: Repair of table xxx started at.... invalid total record count of 0, error fixed... repair of table xxx completed at.... if do the upgrade in code I get DBISAM Engine Error #8965 Index Page buffers corrupt. all of the data is fine after the upgrade through code. is this a false positive error because of the upgrade? thanks, Michael Messerschmidt |

Its a long time ago but I do remember that was what was meant to happen. I think it was a consequence of a change in the table structures. Roy Lambert [Team Elevate] |

<< if do the upgrade in code I get DBISAM Engine Error #8965 Index Page buffers corrupt. all of the data is fine after the upgrade through code. is this a false positive error because of the upgrade? >> Yes, it is, and you can safely ignore it. It is trapped by the engine and fixed during the upgrade process. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
