Can I ask what the status of DBISAM/ElevateDB and XE2 is please? What are your
plans, if any? If you have any announced info, please point me at it.

I'm still using DBISAM (and paying for support) as it fits my needs and I have tons
of code to work with it. I'd like to take it to Mac OSX too.

Delphi XE and DBISAM/ElevateDB is already available (4.30 and above).

But MacOS is another thing, so far we (developers) don´t have any Delphi
version that runs on MacOs and therefore when it will available I think it
is not a big problem to Tim to convert /prepare DBISAM/ElevateDB to run on
Mac.

Indeed, and I'm a happy user. I'm asking about plans and expectations for XE2
though of course.

Are you speaking as a user, or on behalf of ElevateSoft? I don't know if Tim is a
beta tester, but I do know that some beta testers have XE2 now and are working to
adapt their code to 64-bit and MacOSX where appropriate. I'm not expecting a
download today, but would like to know plans (if any!) and expectations.

We do not have any information about any such product, mainly because we are
not allowed to talk about any such product, if any such product did exist
and was being beta tested.

As a general rule, we will make sure that DBISAM works on any new version of
Delphi/C++Builder and, as always, would arrive as a new minor release as
soon as the new version of Delphi/C++Builder is released.

Tim,

Thanks for that. I got the impression that it's existence was now public. But
should anything come out, I'm happy that you'll be aiming to support it. TVM.

Reminds me the fight club's scene where Bob doesn't mention the new support group because the first rule of the group is do not talk about the group and the second rule is.. etc Smile
