Thread Corrupt IDX Files

Hi,

I have recently had 3 customers who all had every IDX file in their
system corrupt beyond repair and no idea what caused this to happen.
(replacing the idx files with blank ones and repairing brought all of
the data back luckily)

Has anybody else seen this, just wondering if it is a virus or even an
Anti-Virus gone crazy.

It turns out these customers had a virus that has encrypted the .idx
files. They can be restored from this site:

https://www.decryptcryptolocker.com/

I have a customer that had exactly the same problem. Fortunately there was a recent backup, and after cleaning the computer the database has been restores from backup. Your link is *gold* Smiley.
