Chris Holland SEC Solutions Ltd. Team Elevate | Hi,
I have recently had 3 customers who all had every IDX file in their system corrupt beyond repair and no idea what caused this to happen. (replacing the idx files with blank ones and repairing brought all of the data back luckily) Has anybody else seen this, just wondering if it is a virus or even an Anti-Virus gone crazy. -- Chris Holland [Team Elevate] |

Chris Holland SEC Solutions Ltd. Team Elevate | It turns out these customers had a virus that has encrypted the .idx
files. They can be restored from this site: https://www.decryptcryptolocker.com/ Chris Holland [Team Elevate] On 24/06/2015 10:33, Chris Holland wrote: > Hi, > > I have recently had 3 customers who all had every IDX file in their > system corrupt beyond repair and no idea what caused this to happen. > (replacing the idx files with blank ones and repairing brought all of > the data back luckily) > > Has anybody else seen this, just wondering if it is a virus or even an > Anti-Virus gone crazy. > |
