Table Import Into Access 2003 |

Stuart Kelly | Hi,
We are using DBISAM 3.30. One of our customers is trying to import the DBISAM tables into Mircosoft Access 2003. When a LargeInt field is imported it is converted to data type: Text. Is this a problem with the ODBC driver or with Mircosoft Access 2003? Thanks -- Stuart Kelly mode software |

Jet determines how the ODBC driver binds the row data to the row buffers that Jet uses to read from a given query result set, and the ODBC driver just does as it is told. For some reason, it doesn't want Int64 data back as an Int32 instead, most likely due to possible conversion issues. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
