Pieter Esterhuizen | Hi
I have incorrectly upgraded tables to DBISAM ODBC Std version 4.25. What will be the fastest way to rollback to DBISAM ODBC Std version 3.30? If there isno way to roll back please explain step by step how to get back to 3.30. I am very new to ODBC DBISAM. Please help. |

Chris Holland SEC Solutions Ltd. Team Elevate | Hi Pieter,
I think the only way to go from V4 to V3 tables would be to restore a backup of the tables from a V3 backup. As far as I know there is no downgrade available. If you upgraded the tables in the normal way then there should be files of the form: <tablename>.DUP <tablename>.IUP <tablename>.BUP ....left behind. These are the original .DAT, .IDX and .BLB files that make up the original V3.x format table (the BUP/BLB files would only be present if your tables contained memo/blob fields). Eryk |
