Hello,

We are using the DBISAM ODBC Friver in order to make a connection to the DBISAM tables using SSIS (SQL SERVER INTEGERATION SERVICES).
We are getting the following error:
"DBISAM Engine erro # 11013 Access denied to table or backup file '75320'"

please advise.

Thank you for your help.

More than likely the issue is due to anti-virus software:

Are you getting this error on just one machine, or more than one machine ?
Also, did it just start happening ?

Hello Tim,

We have DBISAM ODBC Driver version 4.26 and we have disabled the anti-virus, but we are still encountering the same error.
please advise and thank you in advance.

There is still an issue with certain anti-virus software, such as Microsoft
Security Essentials.   The only solution is to disable/uninstall the
anti-virus software or exclude the database and temporary tables directories
(private directory) from being scanned by the anti-virus software.

What OS and anti-virus software are using ?  Some of the anti-virus software
make it nearly impossible to disable or stop from scanning certain
directories.

Hello,

We are using McAfee version 8.5 and we could disable or stop scanning certain directories but still got the same error.

Whenever we create a new ODBC connection it works again and the next day give the message Access Denied.

What is the temporary files directory that you're using for the DSN or
connection string ?  You should try using a non-standard temporary files
directory, i.e. something like c:\myapp\temp.

It's definitely the anti-virus software causing the issue.  It's just a
matter of figuring out how to get it to stop interfering with DBISAM.
