Stefano Monterisi | Hi,
I must distribuite DBISAM ODBC to customers with an installer; What is the "essential" files and operation for silent installation of only need for connections? I don't want server install, I don't need command line, I create connection data in Delphi code. Another question: Performance of DBISAM via ODBC against Normal DBISAM access? Thanks in advance! Raul Team Elevate | AFAIK all you really need to do is to deploy the dll and then create appropriate registry entries. Various registry entries are documented here in manual: http://www.elevatesoft.com/manual?action=viewtopic&id=dbisam4odbc&topic=registry_entries and http://www.elevatesoft.com/manual?action=viewtopic&id=dbisam4odbc&topic=Custom_Driver_Installation There is an older posting where Tim provided his install script for odbc installer: http://www.elevatesoft.com/forums?action=view&category=dbisam&id=dbisam_odbc&msg=1491&start=1&keywords=ODBC%20install&searchbody=True&forum=DBISAM_Announce&forum=DBISAM_General&forum=DBISAM_SQL&forum=DBISAM_CS&forum=DBISAM_ODBC&forum=DBISAM_Beta&forum=DBISAM_Linux&forum=DBISAM_Binaries&forum=DBISAM_Suggestions&forum=DBISAM_ThirdParty&forum=DBISAM_Discussion#1491 Finally the EDB has a deployment document and the ODBC section should be quite similar (except of course us the DBISAM registry keys): http://www.elevatesoft.com/articles?action=view&category=edb&article=deploying_elevatedb_applications Raul NB! Note that NGs are peer supported and while Tim does check them it might be infrequently. For urgent matters always email support. << "Stefano Monterisi" wrote: Hi, I must distribuite DBISAM ODBC to customers with an installer; What is the "essential" files and operation for silent installation of only need for connections?
