ODBC and LAMP? |

Schiff | We have a developed a web app that grabs data via DBISAM ODBC Standard from a Windows-based dbISAM database (DBISAM Version 4.29 Build 4). We currently have all sides of the application on Windows systems. We have built a Python process that currently runs under Windows that connects via the ODBC drivers to both the dbISAM source and the MySQL database.
We'd potentially like to move the update/connection process and mechanics onto a LAMP server, while still connecting to the Windows dbISAM for updates. Is this doable? if so, how? |

To answer your question - no, there isn't an ODBC driver for Linux, so you cannot use it on that platform. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
