M Reyneke

Hi,

tried installing the ODBC drivers on Windows 8 64Bit edition. BOth the official trial version and the 64bit version that comes with purchased package seem to give the same error (except for the paths).

Error Below:
The setup routines for the DBISAM 4 ODBC Driver (Read-Only) ODBC driver could not be loaded due to system error code 1114: A dynamic link library (DLL) initialization routine failed. (C:\Program Files (x86)\DBISAM 4 ODBC-TRIAL\libs\dbodbc64readonly\dbodbc.dll).

Perhaps I am missing something, but hoping you could shed some light.

Kind Regards

Did you try right clicking on the install EXE
and select "Run As Administrator"?

The new 4.35 build 2 that fixes this just went out this morning.
