Uli Becker | Roy,
> Can a (not to distant) version of EDBManager have an export to csv for result sets please? Good idea, I would like to have that as well. As a workaround I am using: create table temp as (select * from mytable) with data Then you can right-click the new table and export to csv from there. Regards Uli |

That's pretty much what I was planning for when I actually want to get at the data. Roy Lambert |

<< Can a (not to distant) version of EDBManager have an export to csv for result sets please? >> Yes, it's on the list and will be addressed along with some other improvements to the import/export in terms of new formats and ANSI/Unicode options. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

BTW, your Properties window keystroke is now available in the EDB Manager (F6) as of 2.02 B12. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

>BTW, your Properties window keystroke is now available in the EDB Manager >(F6) as of 2.02 B12. That sounds absolutely super. Unfortunately I must be to dense to operate it. I installed 2.02b12 a day or so back and having been given this good news I've just been pressing F6 madly all over the place. Net result nothing, nada, zilch. Can you please tell me how its meant to work? A very puzzled Roy Lambert |

Back again about F6. If I select a table either from the treeview or the pane I get the table properties and the nice menu allowing me to open it etc. If I click on (say) Triggers then the only way back to the properties menu is to click on the table in the treeview. Can F6 bring us back to the properties page from things like that? Roy Lambert |

The F6 key doesn't even check any conditions, it just brings forward the Properties page. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Its this terminology thing again. When I originally asked for it my brain was thinking table properties since that's what I spend most of my time in EDBManager playing with. As is common in the IT world you have superbly delivered what was asked for, not what I wanted <vbg>. Can I put in another request (if you have any Fkeys left over) for one to take me back to the table properties. Roy Lambert |
