If the only solution to having a database open in an app and in EDBMan simultaneously is to alter the configuration file folder in EDBMan can you move it so that its permanently on view please. Say on the toolbar. Roy Lambert |

I'll probably have a catalog in each and every app I create (in fact its a necessity since I can't guarantee paths on someone else's PC). If I'm working on a couple of them then having to remember to exit EDBMan, reenter it, edit the configuration path each time I want to check out the table data or make a minor tweak is a major PITA. I don't know how others work but that's me Roy Lambert |

Thanks. I know I could customise EDBMan myself but I prefer to keep with the standard product. One of my ideas goes everytime EDBMan opens it uses the default configuration path and uses that and the default session to display a list of databases if the user clicks on one it changes the configuration path to the database path and opens it Something like that anyway Roy Lambert |

We definitely don't want to give anyone the impression that there *must* be a one-to-one between databases and configurations. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
