Thread question about DBISAM managment tools
Thu, Mar 2 2006 3:26 AMPermanent Link

"Ulrich Kobsa"
Hi,

As I'm a newbie to DBISAM : what are good management tools for it?
Currently I'm working with DBI-Desktop but I'm not totally convinced.
Also their support forum seems to be out of work at least since some
days (I always get a page not found error).
As I'm coming from Oracle, are there any similar tools like
PLSQL-Developer or TOAD?

greetings,
Ulrich

You might have a look at DBISAM Manager from EMS   http://www.sqlmanager.net/en/products/mysql/manager

Ulrich,

What questions did you have about DBi-Desktop?

Our forum is down due to the fact that when we switched our domain,
phpBB would not work due to the restrictions of MySQL using the new
company.

We are looking at several different options, such as a NG option.

You can always contact us at support@senderosoftware.com

OK,

Just called my host, cussed and discussed, and we came up with a solution (hopefully).
I plan to have the forum backup and running by the weekend.

Regards,
Scott.

Ulrich,

The forum is now online. If you have problems connecting, then allow up to 12 hours for DNS changes.

Regards,
Scott.
