Thread eBay application made with DBIsam & Delphi 2007
Thu, Mar 13 2008 11:17 PMPermanent Link

Tom Martin
We’ve developed a really slick and powerful eBay trading application called Global Market Access (GMA) using DBIsam 4.x and Delphi 2007.  You
can go to the following link and take the visual tour and see for yourself.

http://www.altaireon.com/tour/tour_overview.html

GMA illustrates all of the reasons why Delphi 2007 & DBIsam are the tools of choice for developing powerful, feature rich, internet enabled, real
world, and mission critical business applications.   GMA manages thousands of eBay listings and sales daily with items shipped worldwide.

Feedback and comments are welcome.  Email to: tjm at altaireon dot com

Anyone needing help or interested in enhancing their application’s GUI and user interfaces, please feel free to contact me.  We are professional
grade and can help take your application to the next level.  Slick, highly polished, functional, streamlined GUI’s and user interfaces will give you
the competitive edge in this ultra-competitive world.

Thanks,

Tom

Steve

Thanks for the kind words.  As I pointed out in the previous post, it's an application that uses DBIsam soon to be using ElevateDB.  Tim has done
a really good job with both products so much so we are willing to trust our data to Elevate Software.  I wanted other user's of DBIsam and
ElevateDB to know what we've done.

Tom I'am working on an ebay clone right now, that is all the
categorys and subcats, a DBIsam table for each one.
Someone well more than one told me it would take one of
the big guys like Oracle to complete such a task.
I guess they are just whimps. Wink

Thanks for giving us a look at your app, the looks and feel
of the app previews around here is mind blowing.
I think Stevo set the standard and the rest followed Wink
