We have used elevate db server on our 32 bit windows 2003 server so far. But, now we are going to use a new 64 bit 2008 server.

Is it better to use the 64 bit server software version on our new 64 bit server?
Client software will still be 32 bit, and the database etc is all created with the 32 bit versions on the old server machine(wich we are going to copy all the data files from).

Per email:

It's really up to your needs.  If the 32-bit server is working fine for you,
then there isn't any need to switch.  The main reason that customers switch
to the 64-bit EDB Server is the larger memory address space that allows the
server to be able to serve a lot more sessions/connections due to the
removal of the 4GB memory address space limit in the 32-bit EDB Server.
