>Any chance of this being updated? Why? What doesn't it do, and what do you want SOURCE code updating to? Remember I'm on D2006. I'm happy to help but what I can do is limited. Roy |

Ian Branch | Hi Roy,
Aside from the EDB components, I don't have most/all of the components used on the form they obviously didn't show up when I opened it. Thus I can't readily see/know what they are and meant to do. Don't stress it. I was just being lazy. Regards, Ian |

Ian Branch | Hi Roy,
Out of curiosity, what keeps you on D2006? I would have though D2007 would be the pre-unicode version to sit on. I keep D2007 tucked away in a VM for the odd job. Regards, Ian |

If you weren't so lazy you could have looked a few posts down and seen that I've posted all of my homebrew components to the binaries. They've changed a bit since then so if you'd like a new fresh copy let me know. Essentially all it is is a wrapper for VERIFY / REPAIR / OPTIMIZE TABLE with a bit to get the table info from the Information database Roy |

>Out of curiosity, what keeps you on D2006? I would have though D2007 would be the pre-unicode version to sit on. >I keep D2007 tucked away in a VM for the odd job. It was sheer stupidity. As a hobbyist (ok I was using what I wrote in my recruitment business and even sold a few copies) I didn't upgrade every version. I'd upgraded to D2006 abd D2007 was a bt of a bug fix for that but I wasn't being bothered by any of the bugs so I didn't see the point in buying D2007. Now I'd be interested finding a copy is "difficult" and I'm not paying the small countries GDP to buy a licence for the current version which would then allow me to download D2007. So if someone has a version to sell at a non extortionate price I might be interested. Howver the major positive consequence of being stuck on D2006 is I'm also stuck on Windows 7 for my main PC - yippee Roy Lambert |

Ian Branch | Hi Roy,
Covering the two posts here.. Yes I saw components there, wasn't interested att. If you have a fresh set, I'd be happy to try it/them. I did look at the code for the utility today and garnered what it was doing. Gave me some thoughties. OK on the D2006 background. As indicated I use D2007 for Q&D jobs. It is running on Win 7 in the VM. Regards, Ian |
