i have put the edbsrvr on my VPN, i can connect via edbmgr and works great.

with delphi rio, i can connect to local server, but not to my vpn using the IP address
i have allowed the port, turned firewall off and still get 10013 on API connect error

i have no idea what i am doing wrong

tried it in EWB and server works, its in delphi RIO using latest build i am getting error

Almost like the IDE EBD connection is not routing thru the VPN - it's
most likely binding to some local IP or such.

If you start VPN first and then IDE do you still have the same issue ?

Tried every way with EDB, tried on VPN, then tried on a local network pc, still same error.

tried with EWB, no errors connecting to VPN or local network machine

it works via EDBmgr utility so it can't be my network or vpn, as everything else works perfect.

its something from the IDE

update:
tried build for 10.4 on my other machine and works, so the problems is with the 10.3 version for RIO.
