Steve Gill | Can the LogEvents table be cleared in code when it gets large, or is it completely managed by the EDB engine?

Its a "circular" file so I would just set the MaxLogFileSize property of the engine. The log file is locked when the engine starts up (well I assume that's when) so you can't delete at the OS level and I don't know of a built in command. Roy Lambert |

<< Can the LogEvents table be cleared in code when it gets large, or is it completely managed by the EDB engine? >> Roy is correct, you shouldn't need to clear it because it will just keep re-using the same space over and over again. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
