Fernando Dias | Tim,
Using a TEDBQuery (version 1.03) with a TClientDataset when the query returns a Timestamp column raises the following exception when displaying the value: --------------------------- Project DBTest.exe raised exception class EConvertError with message ''0.0' is not a valid timestamp'. --------------------------- The error occurs when the timestamp value is displayed in a dbedit or dbgrid. If there are no controls showing the the column, then there is no error. -- Fernando Dias |

Fernando Dias | Tim,
> What are the timestamp values ? Are any of them blank ? No. All values are >0. But I tested both cases (a column with blank values and another without) and the result is the same. Also, date columns are working ok - it's just happening with timestamp columns. I forgot to mention I'm using D2006. -- Fernando Dias |

Tim Young [Elevate Software] Elevate Software, Inc. | Fernando,
<< Is this fixed in 1.04? >> Yes, sorry about that. I mixed up the fix release numbers and had them set to 1.03 B2 when they should have been 1.04 B1. That caused them to not show up for the 1.04 release. http://www.elevatesoft.com/scripts/incident.dll?action=viewaddr&category=edb&release=1.04&type=f&incident=2368 -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
