I'm guessing these roadmap features won't see the light of day anytime soon:

* Fail-safe writes with global file I/O buffering enabled
* Messaging layer for general messaging notifications and broadcasts with the ElevateDB server

I've been waiting for years for the second one.

I really don't know.  The last EDB update was 7 months ago, and the last EWB update was 9 months ago.

I know that this has been an uncertain several months due to EWB 3.02 taking so long and bug fixes being absent, but I am doing my best to get things back on track after the very long EWB 3.x development cycle.

EWB 3.02 is coming out today with native Delphi components, followed by new ElevateDB and DBISAM bug fix builds.  I will be starting again on major feature upgrades to ElevateDB and DBISAM shortly, I just ask that you be patient a little while longer.

Thanks,

It's really good to hear from you!  I was getting really worried.

Thanks for the update.  It's great to hear what's happening and where things stand. Smile

We know, that you've been working on EWB with a lot of power in the
last months ... but EDB needs also some work + If you look into this
from our side, you will note that we're subscription payers ... so we
need also some updates ... not much, only a little bit Wink

Mike

Hi Tim,

Any updates? Especially on supporting single file database.

Regards,

Mike
