Ian Branch | Hi Guys,
D11.2, current EDB, C/S mode. This is a new one on me. Apparently raised in the client by TEDBCommsManager in the ReceiveHeader procedure/method, as best I can tell from a Post operation. Anybody got a clue as to what might have caused this?? Regards & TIA, Ian |

A simple reboot should fix it, after all it does most things I'm guessing its a Windows / network level error and knowing your client has network problems on occasion I'd suspect that. If there was no error message number I'd lsuspect network hardware drivers first. I thought your software had code for the connection lost event, if so did that trap it and what was its action, if not it again suggests something happening outside of your program which indicates Windows or network hardware. Ian Branch | Tks Yusuf.
Roy, You are correct but no it didn't catch it, nor was there and EDB Error code. I too was inclined to write it off as a network hiccup. Regards, Ian |
