I'm planning on upgrade a server that is currently on 2.24 to 2.36 build 3.

This server host about 8 databases, has as many store and 4~6 jobs.

Should I just replace the edbsrvr.exe with the appropiate version or is something more that should be done?

Regards,
Mario

Generally yes but go look at release notes between versions to make sure none of the breaking changes impact you. Main one that might be worthwhile to check on is since 2.28 largefilesupport being default option - as long as all clients access EDB data thru your EDBServer you're OK but should anything else access those data direct then they should be on same new version.

Thank you Raul, fortunately everything goes through the EDBServer.

Hello Mario,

I would update to 2.36 build 1 and not to build 3. Build 3 is very new
and is a hotfix for build 2 with problems. We use 2.36b1 now for a
while without problems.

We will wait the next 2-4 weeks before updating to latest version ...
