Small enhancement to EDB Manager |

Adam Brett Orixa Systems | EDB Manager has a great feature: dragging a "Table" icon from the tree-view into a SQL window generates CREATE SQL.
You are also given the option to SQL to INSERT data. It would be great if you were also given options to generate SQL to Create Triggers & Indexes, as if you are re-creating a table, these are constituent elements of the table, and you will want to add these as well. Adam |

Adam Brett Orixa Systems | I realise that you can also drag the triggers into the window to create them, I am just talking about automating the process to speed it up and avoid accidental omissions.

Unfortunately, I have to say that's a bad idea. I have triggers that rely on / carry out actions on other tables, or require external functions. That could give far more grief than having to drag them over later on. Roy Lambert |
