EDBMgr should have Cancel button when opening a slow view |

Barry | I noticed if I have an incorrectly defined view that takes forever to open (maybe I'm accidentally doing a cross product), and I click on the "Open View" link in the tasks pane, there is no cancel button on the toolbar. I either have to wait until the view opens (which could be minutes) or terminate EDBMgr.
It would be nice if there was a Cancel button on the toolbar when "Open View" is executed, like there is when running queries. Barry |

It just lacks the correct bindings to be able to get progress events that would allow for this. I will put this on the list, though, to see if I can come up with something that works. I thought if there was a quick fix, why not implement it. Barry |
