Mark,

That looks really nice.

Playing with EWB2 I built a menu panel with the same look and feel -
it's just simple and very quick to create (screenshot).

P.S. I love the new layout properties! Smile

All good now thanks - totally get it.

With a few tweaks, EWB2 will be awesome for rapid design and creation of responsive web apps.

Onwards!

Uli,

Searching through the newsgroups, I found your comment and was impressed with the screen shot.  This is exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for.

Would it be possible for you to post some sample code of how to do this (assuming it's really as simple as you say Wink)?  I have no idea how to achieve this look and functionality, but it definitely showcases what's possible with EWB 2.

BTW, I'd be willing to pay for a slick menu component (and others) like this. Wink

Doug,

sorry to disappoint you: what you see on the screenshot is not a component, I just put some panels, lables and icons together using the new layout features.

Hopefully someone will be able to create a similar component. Actually I'm not good as a component developer. Smile

The sample for a menu type system was put in the binaries a long time
ago. It works well, and wouldn't be hard to make into a more dynamic
component using the same basics as I used for my "grid".
