** EWB2 Build 9 **

I ran Help | Install Example Applications. However, I get the following error when I run them:

"Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window."

Any suggestions?

Ok, I eventually realised its a slight inconvenience for now. Seems an internal web browser issue.

To workaround, hit Ctrl-F9 to compile, and then go to your web browser (Chrome, Firefox or whatever) and enter:

   http://localhost:[port number]

Example: http://locahost:80

Hopefully this post helps someone else at some point.

Would you be able to test something for me ?  I can't get this error to
occur here, so I think it's specify to some combination of IE/Windows
version.  So, I'd like to send you the next build candidate to see if you
get the error with it.

Thanks,

Ugh, that should be "specific", not "specify"...

Hi Tim,
It happens to me too, even with a simple project like a form with a button.
I could run a test if you want.

Regards
Diego

Great, please send me an email and I'll reply with the version to test with.

My hard drive crashed and went to Hard Drive Heaven over the past weekend and took Windows 8.1 with it on a partition.

I decided to install my copy of Windows 7 on the new hard drive.  So, I am running a totally new Windows 7 installation on a new hard drive. No Service packs. OH MY GOODNESS!! It is Internet Explorer 8 !!!

Maybe that is the problem?

Let me upgrade to IE 11 and check again.

That would definitely be a problem since IE8 does not do HTML5.

I can't find the reference right now but i believe IE9 is absolute
minimum for EWB2 apps and of course newer is recommended

I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit on a VMWare VM with IE10 and I have the problem.
