Thread Dataset manager per project
Fri, Jun 12 2015 4:01 AMPermanent Link

Anthony

I am just getting started with EWB 2 Preview and looking at getting some new projects started. I was wondering what would be the best way to manage the datasets? Ideally the datasets in the manager would load with each project rather than being bound to the IDE.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks

Hi Anthony,

I have suggested this to Tim before otherwise you end up with loads of
irrelevant datasets in the IDE that make it hard to find the current ones.

I uploaded a small utility program to the binaries newsgroup that lets
you save out and reload the datasets per project, have a look for:

EWB Datasets Control - 6MB

Hope you find this useful.

Hi Chris,

That certainly helps but would be really nice if Tim could add the option of saving the dataset manager list with the project. You utility looks really useful for passing the datasets from a development to production configurations.

Many thanks
