erickengelke | I'm getting used to the beta and am liking it a lot. I think there were a lot of really good design choices.
On a desktop screen it looks awesome. I particularly like the ability to search the widget library to narrow down choices, it's a real timesaver. However, many of us code on laptops, which typically have either lower screen resolution... or larger fonts so we can see stuff better or a combination of the two. But the way there are panels on the left and right significantly cut into screen real estate and limit the size of the viewable form at design time. I found I had to go to the desktop personalization page in Win10 to adjust the on-screen font size to make things fit better. It would be nice if the developer could zoom in/out by changing font sizes or something like that. Like Ctrl + or Ctrl - on web browsers. It's not a deal breaker, but it could be handy. You can also click on the [<-] [->] icons in the title bars to do the same. << I found I had to go to the desktop personalization page in Win10 to adjust the on-screen font size to make things fit better. After that, I will be able to allow scaling and you will be able to use larger fonts without issue. Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |
