It's used for playing media files and loading/displaying other types of
files that must be handled natively by the browser via a plugin (PDFs, for
example).

Start a new project in the EWB IDE, drop a TPlugin component on the main
form and set the following properties:

URL: http://www.elevatesoft.com/debugger.wmv
MIMEType: video/x-ms-wmv

and then run the project.
