Matthew Jones | Funny, but with the various interface editings and "you have to add
your own icons to the interface" it always sounded like a lot of hassle to add a custom icon. How wrong I was! Just go to the Library menu, bottom item is "Open icon library". Now, click the Add button top left, select a name and an icon to copy, and then it is created. Select the current character, and in the properties editor select "Content" and that offers a button to select from the standard font. Loads of sensible things there, including the folder open/close I was wasting time on. Hit save, it will recompile the library and it is now available. One further madness - I like the icons to have a particular colour, and not that given. I could turn off the ApplyProperties value for colour but on reflection I realised that the smart thing to do was follow Tim's lead and set the colour to what I want that icon to always be. Then I have consistency. Another easy thing to do in this oh so powerful tool. (I've implemented a treeview in an embeddable form, which works really nicely I think using my FormList - the abstraction possible in EWB is brilliant.) -- Matthew Jones |

Richard Harding Wise Nutrition Coaching | Hi Matthew
<<I've implemented a treeview in an embeddable form, which works really nicely I think using my FormList - the abstraction possible in EWB is brilliant.>> Very clever. I agree with your comments about EWB. It is amazing what Tim has achieved with EWB, EDB and ISAMDB. Richard |

I hope that EWB gets a nice one sometime but I suspect that my requirements are going to be a little over a standard one. Like I have a "root" item that cannot be collapsed or selected but must be shown. Just horrible things to do - someone could charge money for a good EWB treeview... -- Matthew Jones |
