Configuration data for Database and dataset (EWB 2.0.5) |

Bill | Hi all,
where are saved the config params generated by new DatabaseManager in 2.0.5? I did a test on a virtual machine and now, I would like take in production pc without charge every database and dataset. And more, there is an easy way to change some parameters, IE username and password between db copying config string? In fact, I have a local db environment (Ms Sql Express and Firebird) that I use when I'm not in office and a development db server that I use when I'm in with some production data. They are equal (more or less...) excluding username and password. Thanks in advance |

For the IDE itself it's in ewbide.ini file (under user appdata folder - in my Win10 that would be "C:\Users\<username<\AppData\Local\Elevate Software\Elevate Web Builder 2" folder). Look for "[Database_<database name>]" and "[Database_<database name>_DataSet_<dataset name>]" sections. For the EWB Web server it's the "ewbsrvr.ini" file which is all users area ("C:\ProgramData\Elevate Software\Elevate Web Builder 2 Web Server"). These are just INIs so trivial to manipulate. Raul |
