Hi all,

I am playing with PhoneGap, which makes it really easy to convert a EWB web app to a "real" app. Ok, I needed some time to understand whitelisting

Using build.phonegap.com, I get my apk file, and everything works great. Except that I have to upload, download, uninstall and install every time. So I tried the PhoneGap Desktop App. Again, the resulting app works, and the development/test cycle is way faster.

But I don't get the icons in my local built app. It does not matter if I embed the EWB font or not, and copying the otf file in the PhoneGap www folder does not help.

Does anybody use EWBIcons with PhoneGap and can give me a hint? Oh, and is there a way to rebuild in the PhoneGap Desktop App after updating files in the project folder?

I tried Phonegap for a while but now I'm using web apps instead.

I can't remember any problems with EWB icon fonts, but generally I used this

to create the apk.

I tried this, thanks for all the information you provided to that topic. It works like a charm, and it will be even better with EWB3. But I need access to the camera, barcode scanning etc.. It can be done in web pages with QuaggaJS, but then you can run into problems with iOS if you don't use Safari. And sometimes the customer wants a "real" app.
