I have the EWB server installed on our Windows Server 2016R2.

When a new EWB is released can I just stop the EWB server and copy new ewbsrvr.exe to the Computer replacing the old one?

Same question for the EDB replacing the edbsrvr.exe

Thanks,
Kim

You need to *close* ewbsrvr.exe, stopping is not enough.

Kim Uli,

I think there might be some confusion on how it's running.

if EWB Server is running as a service then yes stopping the service
should be enough (stop service, copy new exe , start service).

If EWB server is running interactively then stopping EWB server itself
is not enough (stop button) and like Uli said one needs to close the
running app (exit).

Same for EDB server

Thanks Uli and Raul,

I just want to be sure no other files was needed for the update.

Thanks,
Kim
