Paul Coshott | Hey Everyone,
So on Wednesday my internet server crashed. I managed to get everything off it that I needed (better backups definitely needed in the future), but I couldn’t re-install the OS. So I decided to go with a better local company and they have set me up with a new server. I think I have setup everything that I need to, but something’s not right. I can’t start my elevate web server service, but I’m thinking it’s more to do with a problem with my SSL certificate, which I’m thinking is more to do with something in the way the server is setup. The SSL certificate installed correctly and I can see in MMC that it has 2.5 months before expiry. I have 3 web apps on the server, each written with EWB and I use TMS’s XData as my rest server services. The rest server services are all working correctly, as I can login using swagger to test the api’s and that’s all fine. But I do get an error when first connecting - see attached image. Once I proceed, everything works as expected (although with an unsecured site). Anyone have any idea what the issue could be and how to fix it? Thanks, Paul Attachments: connection_error.png |

Paul Coshott | Hi all,
>>Anyone have any idea what the issue could be and how to fix it? All sorted. The SSL issue resolved itself this afternoon, but I still had the elevate web server services issue. It was nothing to do with the SSL certificate. My new server has an external and internal ip address. The elevate web server config ini file required the internal ip address. Once I changed that everything worked. Thanks, Paul |
